Butterfly of the Month - December
December 12 2019 By Progression
Our final Butterfly of the Month award for 2019 goes to Justin Sauls who is currently completing his Business Administration NQF3 learnership. Justin is gaining the workplace experience component of his learnership within Progression's innovative and exciting new Payroll Hub.
The Payroll Hub is a registered business which was initially set up at the beginning of 2019 and the learners are the beneficiaries of a non-profit company that has a shareholding in the hub.
The hub willassist the learners in developing relevant skills to guide them in the management and running of their own company. The hub will also allow the learners to gain qualifications and competencies that will afford them the opportunity to start their own businesses and not necessarily rely on corporate South Africa to employ them, thereby creating a more sustainable future for themselves.
Justin feels that he has acquired important skills as well as valuable experience since he started the programme, almost a year ago. He also believes that the knowledge he has gained through his training has contributed to his growing confidence and professionalism. Justin's advice to other learners is, "Always work hard, to the best of your abilities, and don't be afraid to study because you are never too old to learn." He is incredibly excited and is looking forward to the day when he receives his certificates, which will serve as a testament to all his hard work and what he has accomplished through the learnership.
Tarryn Mason, Justin's mentor at Progression, states, "Justin has proven to be a dedicated and committed learner who follows instructions and is always willing and eager to jump in and do what needs to be done." Tarryn also confirms that Justin has scored highly in all his tests and assessments so far and, through his enthusiasm and positive attitude, he serves as a shining example to other learners.
Progression would like to congratulate Justin on his hard work and achievements thus far and we wish him everything of the best in his future career.
