Boost your B-BBEE Scorecard with Progression's Disability Rights Awareness Month Promotion

In celebration of the upcoming National Disability Rights Awareness Month, Progression will be offering a free Disability Awareness Day (valued at R30 000) to clients who sign off on the below learnerships. T's&C's apply.

Business Administration NQF 2

This qualification is for any individual who is, or wishes to be, involved in the administration function in any organisation. It contains all the competencies, skills and values required by a learner who wishes to access the National Certificate in Business Administration Services at NQF: Level 3. The core component contains competencies in information handling, communications, enterprise/customer service, business policies and procedures, among others.

National Certificate: Wholesale and Retail Sales Practice NQF 3

The purpose of this qualification is to equip learners to understand and apply the underlying principles of the Wholesale & Retail sector and associated practices with particular emphasis on Sales and Customer Service. By improving the W&R Sales and related administration skills of employees in the sector, this qualification aims to improve service delivery in the W&R field, arguably one of the most important arenas for social and economic transformation in the country. Core unit standards include understanding the retail supply chain, building positive client relationships and influencing the business bottom line.

The below programmes fall under the Skills Development element of the B-BEE Scorecard. Your organisation will gain valuable BEE points as well as benefit the community through the below community development programmes without the direct mentoring having an impact on your business operations. You are able to empower persons with a disability even if your working environment is currently not conducive to fairly or safely accommodating the person.

  Siyakwazi Programme

Learners will be hosted at Siyakwazi, a NPO that focuses on giving support to children within rural communities to prevent disability.
Progression will assist your organisation in putting together a four year skills development learnership programme and career path that commences with a Business Administration NQF Level 2 and progresses to Early Childhood Development NQF Levels 3, 4 & 5.

Sewing and Woodworking Hub

We have an exciting opportunity for 15 learners in KZN and 30 learners in Gauteng to be a part of a New Venture Creation opportunity. The new venture will be set up in such a way that the learners will be shareholders in the business. The business will commence as a HUB where the learners will be taught and mentored in the various elements of sewing and woodworking as well as business ownership and management. Their services will be outsourced to various companies who have committed, through letters of intent and future contracts, to utilising the services of the HUB.
