Socio-Economic Development

For us at Rise, socio-economic development is about sustainable  development, rather than a constant appeal for donations and handouts.  Ultimately, whatever is implemented needs to continue to work  independently.

Socio-Economic Development (SED) is one of the five elements in the revised B-BBEE codes.

Thus, funding these projects will provide organisations with valuable points towards their B-BBEE scorecard and will contribute to the sustainable upliftment of the communities who need it most.

Rise was born from a passion for people and creating opportunities within communities in South Africa.

The organisation is a subsidiary of Progression and focuses on people development through various empowerment initiatives which ultimately starts at grass roots level to empower communities. We have a variety of projects in need of funding.
